Dear Mr. Roast:
Recently We completed installation of a new public sanitary sewer line (8") across both my
property (at 11375 SW Erste F11) and the property of Mr. & Mrs. Karl Unger (at 13030 SW
115th Av). The now line terminates in a Man-hole which was also added and has 8" stubs for
future lines running both West and North from the Man-hole.
This letter is to serve notico that the Unger's participated with us in the development and
construction of this sanitary sewer main. Please file this letter for future reference so it may
serve a5 proof of particig lio-a and Allow the owners of the property at 13030 SW 115th to be
waiverel from the "In Lieu of Assessment" charge should they desire to conne ;t to public
sewer facilities.

Dear Mr. Unger:
Mr. Dave Witzleden requested that I write yov to explain the City's policy
regarding sewer connection fees (more specifically a $3,000 "In Lieu of
A-3sessment" charge) .
The "In Lieu of Assessment" charge is placed on properties which desire to
connect to the public sanitary sewer facilities, but do not have proof of
participating in the extension or construction of any main line sanitary
sewer. Proof of participation can be in the form of a letter from the
developer of the sanitary sewer *main, which states a particular property had
participated in the construction of the sanitary sewer. Proof could also be
shown by a copy of a bill or an assessment or the property.
Pleas: note, the waiver of the "In Lieu of Assessment" charge is not a waiver
of the regular sewer permit fees.
