Dear, tlr. Cox:
This is a Fire and Life Safety Plan Review and is based on the
1988 editions of the Fire and Li Fe Safety Code (JBC) ,
Mechanical Dire and Life Safety Code (UMC) , Uniform Fire Code
(UFC) , and other local ordinances and regulations.
Plans are conditionally approved subject to the following
items:
1 . Firestoppina: In all wood framed walls and partitions,
firestopping consisting of 2 -inch Pim.=nally-sized
lumber or other approveo materials mu--t 1,e installed at
all floor and ceiling levels. Penetrations in this
prescribed firestopping to accommodate wiring,
plumbing, and other s.imilaz ftility runs must be racked
with noncombustiL.le materials in an approvers manner iso
es to prevent the passage of flame. UBC Sec. 2516
2. Approved Plans on Job Site: One set of approved plans
bearing the star^ps of the building department issuing
the construction permit and this o.f.fire must be
maintained on the project site throughout all phases of
construction and must be made available to building and
fire inspe- Cors for reference during required

3. Rem?re l Occupancy -grt_ificate: Prior to the use and
occuparl.'y of the project (space) , a .:ertificate of
occupancy or other written instrument of approval must.
be obtained from the building department .issuing the
