Dear Mr. Dinsdale:
The Washington County Department of Public Health has received and reviewed
the plans for the proposed Tillamook Ice Cream Company located at Tigard
Plaza #216.
It is our understanding that community water and community sewer will be
utiliied at this stricture.
The plans are approved subject to the following changes, additions, or
recommendations:
1) Your plans show a three compartment sink to cash nd sani-
tize your utensils. Fac compartment must be large enough to
totally submerue your largest multi-use utensil.
2) The handwashing sinks located in areas of food preparation muFt be
equipped w disp,insadsoap and dispensed sanitary towels.
3) Tt is our understanding that there are restrooms in the building
available for public use. The restrooms must meet the require-
ments of the Oregon Rules of the Health Division under Oregon
Administrative Rule, Chapter 333-32-012 and 32-•015 and all the
cleaning and sanitation requirements of the rules relating to
restaurants. The restrooms being in the mall, as defined by
the Oregon State Health Division, the restrooms must be located
no further from the restaurant than 500 feet. They must be open
for use during all operating hours of the restaurant and location
must be posted.
4) All foods or food items on display within the reach of customers
or in self-service areas, must be pre-packaged, wrapped, covered,
or protected by surae approved means from customer contamination.

insect and rident entrance.
8) All liquid wastes from dipper wells, beverage dispensing units,
refrigeratik"_.5nit.s-, ice bins, ice machine, etc. must drain
indirect to a floor sink or a floorMin.
9) Handled scoopE must be available and utilized to dispense dry
goods and ice.

11) This facility and its operation must meet the Oregon Qules Re-
lating to Eating and Drinking Establishments.
