An investigation revealed that the basement area was being occupied and used in a manner to violate City Ruilding Cods, requirements and Fire Life Safety requirements of the! Fire Department. The building area was posted per City Code requirements and no further use of the subject area is allowed until. the following corrections are made or approved for temporary use by Building Official. 1. . Building Permi � obtained by the owner which will be issued un an approved plan showing the following corrections: a) An approved exit From the office area to the outside of the building b, A one-hour separation between the lower and upper occupancy which includes protection of all supporting members, and one-hOLir separation between office area and storage area. c) Required venting of rest-room area. d) Plumbing Permit is required, Sec. 20. 4, State {dumbing Code- All work to be done by a State Licensed Plumber. 2.
