cants who are Fief registered with the Construction Contractors Board to sign the
following statement before a building permit can be issued. This.statement is required
for residential building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing permits. Licensed

RE: Request to allow installation of a 4,000 gallon above-ground
fuel tank.
Dear Gene:
The Planning Division has approved a request my Mike Smith of
Utility Vault Company to allow installation of a 4,000 gallon
above-ground fuel tank. The fuel tank is proposed to be located at
15930 SW 74th Avenue (WCTM 2S1 12DC, tax lot 1300) .
The property is currently occupied by Western Concrete Pumping
Company and is zoned I-L (Light Industrial) .
Section 18 . 104 .040(D) of the Tigard Community Development Code
states that the installation of above-ground fuel tanks shall be
permitted in all industrial zoning districts subject to Uniform
Fire Code construction, siting, and permit requirements. Tanks
containing Class 1, 11, or 111 liquids shall not exceed 6,000
gallons individual. or 18,000 gallons aggregate in total volume.
Fuel tanks shall be related to and clearly incidental to an
approved use of the site. The applicant proposal complies with
this standards.
The Planning Division approves the applicant's request to install
a 4, 000 gallon above-ground f.uc:l tank as :regxie::;ted above.
