NATKIN & COMPANY
14725 SW 72nd Avenue
Tigard, Or 97223
Dear Sir:
An error was made in computing the connection charge for sanitary sewer to
serve your property at 14725 SW 72nd Avenue.
You were charged of $8.033311 per foot for the 112 feet of your frontage
on this line (449.87).
Further examination of the terms of the agreement (an excerpt of payback which
is enclosed) shows that the charge should be of $8.033311 per foot from the
point of connection to the intersection of SW Bonita and SW 72nd Avenue, a
distance of 301.70 feet.
The charge should have been 301.70 x 1 (8.033311) or $1,211.82. $1,21.1.82
less the $449.87 previously paid leaves $761.95 owing.
We sincerely apologize for the error.
If you have any questions regarding this charge, please contact me at 12420
SW Main or phone 639-4171.
Sincerely, o
Frank A. Currie

Subject: Soils Investigation, Proposed Industrial Development,
S.W. Corner 72nd and Bonita, Tigard
Gentlemen:
Ps per your request, we have conducted a subsurface soils
Iexploration on the referenced property. Five test pits were
dug with a backhoe at the locations shown on the attached site
I plan.
The site is located south of a creek on the west side of
72nd. Ace Electric has constructed a tilt.-up building immedi-
ately to the south. The entire site has been recently graded
with several level building pads created.
lMost of the proposed building sites will be in cut areas.
IThe fill has been placed in the parking and storage areas
adjacent to the creek. The proposed Pipe Fab Building is
Ientirely in cut while the sheet metal shop is mostly cut with
a small amount of fill in the northwest corner.
IThe natural soil underlying the site consists of a medium
' dense silty sand with a thin topsoil layer. The fill. areas

were not investigated; however, these materials are presumed
to be similar.
IGroundwater was encountered at a depth of nine (9 . 0) feet
below the existing surface. This level can , presumably , rise
' hic;her adjacent to the creek as the creek level rises.
' An allowable bearing value of. 2000 lbs ./sq. ft. may
be utilized for the natural soils at a depth of eighteen
inches below existing grade. Any fill or soft pockets should
be removed and recompacted to 95% relative compaction or re-
placed with a granular fill.
IRetaining walls should be prcvided with drainage pipes
to prevent hydrostatic buildup.
IIf you have any questions or desire further information ,
