REMARKS:
This is a Fire and Life Safety review for the tenant modification of an existing
structure. This review is for compliance with the State of Oregon Strn)ntura2
Specialty Code, 1979, as amended and local ordinances.
1. A minimum of one(1) portable fire extinguisher, r(dnimum .•ati.ng Blass 2A--10BC
shall be provided for each 3000 sq.ft. of floor area. Maximum travel distance
to such extinguisher shall not exceed 75 ft.
2. Fire and draft stops shall be as specified in Sec. 2517 (f), State Structural
Code,
3. Hardware for all doors required for egress is required to be of simple type
having no provisions for locking against egress, with obvious ihethod of operation.
Flush bolts other than listed automatic are not acceptable. See. 3303.
