Contractor to furnish all necessary labor, permits, equipment and materials unless
otherwise noted, to accomplish the work listed below and as indicated on Plan Sheet
#6. Chevron U.S.A. Inc. to furnish the building permit. All work to be performed in
accordance with Chevron U.S.A. Inc. construction specifications, plans, applicable
codes and ordinances, and as directed by Company Engineer. Scope of work, plans, and
Chevron specifications are cooperative; what is on one appliPQ to all. Contractor shall
verify dimensions, elevations and conditions on the site. Report any discrepancies
found to Company Engineer prior to starting wort: in question. Work to be scheduled
and performed as necessary to cause the minimum practical disruption with the
operation of the existing facility.
Work to be performed as follaws;
General Contractor
1. All necessary excavation and site preparation.
2. Install new and extend existing piping as indicated on plans. Include new piping
for future lift.
3. Remove existing fluorescent light fixtures from Foffit at south end of building.
Give all lamps to the Dealer. They are his property. These removed fixtures
may be junked or salvaged by contractor. Install new wiring and extend existing
as indicated on plans. Install four new light fixtures.
4. Install foundations, retaining wall, new masonry wall, and all other concrete
work indicated on plans and specifications.
5. Provide for security of existing building and its weather tightness at all times —
until construction has been completed.
6. Fabricate and install new cabinets, shelving and tire racks. Include prime
painting of cabinets and shelving.
7. Patch and overlay A.C. paving as indicated on plans.
B. Perforin any additional work necessary to complete the job that is not the
specific responsibility of the steel or painting contractors.
9. Clean up and remove all debris, etc., from the site at job completion.
Steel Contractor
1. Remove existing south wall o` building. Provide temporary supports as may bc,
r3quired.
2. Furnish plans, details, and install nFw steel lube bay addition in accordance with
plan- and Sections B-1 and B-13 of Specification Sheet SP-1.
3. New glass and door locks to match existing.

Painting Contractor
1. Prime and paint new lube bay addition complete, inside and out. Include new
cabinets, shelving, and tire rack. Paint adjoining areas on existing building
damaged or otherwise needing touch-up due to construction.
2. All work to be performed in accordance with Specifications Sheet SP-1 and
Chevron U.S.A. Inc. painting sp"cifications for service stations.
