1) TRAP CONTRL SPECIF (CITY) -• The City's standard specification for traffic control is "Manual on
Uniform Yreffic Control Devices :or Streets am Highways", U.B. Dept. of Transportation, F.N.A.,
1966 Ed.
2) TRAP CONTRL CONTR RESPON FOR - Traffic control shall be provided for by the contractor in
accordance with the City's standard specification and, also, in accordance with a City (job
specific) approved traffic control plan. A copy of the approved traffic control plan shell be
available ut the work area.
3' TRAP CONTRL - ROAD C:OSURE -- Public roadway shall not be closed to traffic, at any time, without
having first obtrined written approval from the City Engineer. The permit holder is responsible for
provision of timely notification of traffic flow disruptions to area wide Emergence Services
(Tigard Police Dept., Tualatin Fire 4 Rescue) and to Tri-Mat and Tigard School District.
4) TRAP CONTRL - ADVANCE WARNING - Advance warning of imminent traffic disruption shall be provided
to the general motoring public by placement of an advance notification sign at each end of the
conetructi.on area 12 hours (min.) before initiation of construction wnrk.
5) TRAP CONTRL PRIV PROP ACCESS -- Access to existing properties shall be m;lintained at all times,
including normal delivery service and mail service and if not, shall be cause for work stoppage
rntil effective access is ootablished.
6) TRI'.F CONTRL • DEVICES IN PL,NCE -- Traffic control devices, flagpersons, etc•, shall be in place
prior to initiation of constr--tion work and shall be effectively maintained.
7) TRAP/NOISE CONTROL - WORK HRS -- to work will be permitted during the hours of darkness, nor
between 9:00 P.M. to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday nor between . no p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Saturday,
nor between 9eo0 P.M. to 9+oo a.m. Sunday.
6) TRAP CONTRL - MIN LANE WIDTH -- Minimun travel lane width shall he twelve (12) feet; hedeattian
travel shall also be provided for

work, twenty-four (:!4) hours prior to any stag-1 inspection and after completing work covered by
the permit.
11) PERMIT 6 PLAS1 REO ON SITE - A copy of the permit and all attachments, and a copy of the epproved
construction plan and all amendments shall be available at the work area. All work shall conform
to the permit terms, conditions and provisions and to the City approved permit plans, and approved
plan amendments 4r.d to the City's Standards and Specifications ana to tnese General Conditions.
Changes to any of the aforsaid must be approved by the City, in advance of work r,-rformancc.
12) HAZARDS - CERT OF INS Maintenance of the work area and approach roads is the reaponcibili.y of
the permit holder. The work area and approach roads shall be maintained in a clean condition, free
from obstructions and hazards. A copy of the permit holders Certificate )f Insurance shall 1.

13) DEBRIS - MA.TERIALS - Thr spreading of mud or debris or storage of materials or equiptment of any
kind upon any public rr-idway to strictly prohibited and violation shall be cause for immediate

to accomplish cleanup.;
14) EROSION CONTRL REO - Effective eroc'on control is required, Urosion control devices must be

15) REPAIRS ' LIKE MATERIALS REQ -- Property disturbed by construction activity shall be seeded with a
standard grass mix; shrubs, flowers, barkdust, existing signs, pavement markings, mailboxs, etc.,
shall be reestablished, reinstall d or replaced, with like kind and material.
16) DRAINAGE CONTRL REQ -- Effective drainage control is required. Drainage shall be controlled within
the work site and shall be so routed that adjacent private property, public property and the
receiving System is not adversely impacted. The City may at any time order corrective action and

disturbance resolution and owner satisfaction.
23) MONUMENT PROTECTION REQ -- Existing monuments, property corners, and survey markers shall be
protected. Replacement shall be at the permit holders expense.
