Gentlemen:
As per your request, we are submitting an addendum to our letter dated
November 30, 1983, on Copper Creek Stage 3.
Fill placed in Lots 75 and 76 was within the 20 foot set-beck area of each
lot. Ho fill was placed within the structural area of either lot.
The structural area of Lot 76 is on relatively high, firm, undisturbed around
and should riot pose any problems. Lot 75 has an old drainage Swale runn4no
through the center of it and some overexcavation is deemed necessarv.
The structural area of Lot 75 should be overexcavate_ to f'rm, undisturbed
soil , and backfilled with a clean compacted four inch minus, di.-S-d rock. We
would expect to use about a two foot lift under all `ootinc,; and a cap of
a►)nroximately six inches of 3/4 inch minus over the +`our inch ;rock.
Although there is d storm drain on the north end of Lot 75's structural area ,
VIP would recommend a perforated plastic pipe be placed beneath the four inch
rock, followinq the natural contour of the ground to the front of the lot.
Considering that springs have been noted in virtually all of this area in the
past, we feel that foundation drainage is a necessity an.,where that a build-
ing is located in a cut area, especially near breaks- in-slope.
