1. Contractor to coordinate the removal and disposal of all existing building materials scheduled to be removed
with the Owner.
2. All landscape material schedule to be removed shall be the responsiblity of the Landscape contractor. General
Contractor shall coordinate all work to be performed by the Landscape Contractor.

GENERAL NOTES
1. All workmanship and materials shall conform to tl:e latest adopted building code edition,and to conditions and `
specifications of all governing authorities.
2. Contractor shall field verify all dimensions and corxiitions prior to st..uting construction and report any
discrepancies to the Architect. Any correction work required as result of not reporting such discrepancies shall SFr t
be preformed at no additional cost to the Owner. f!.

3. Contractor and subcontractors"I carefully examine the site and the construction documents of the Work.
Errors and omissions in the plans of specifications shall be called to the attention of the Architect prior toFti{
submission of bid so that addenda may be issued. Eailure to do so on the part of the Contractor does not ,
relieve him of the responsibility to provide a correct and finished product. ':

4. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all permits,fees and taxes required.
5. The Contractor shall provide and pay for dumpster,telephone,temporary toilet facilities for his/her and his/her
subcontractor's use.

materials grading,irrigation furnished by Landscape Contractor. All demolition of landscape material to be

3.1 EXAMINATION
A. Verify requirements for concrete cover over reinforcement.
B. Verify that anchors,seats,plates,reinforcement and other items to be cast into concrete are accurately
placed,positioned securely,and will not cause hardship in placing concrete.
3.2 PLACING CONCRETE
A. Place concrete in accordance with ACI 304.
B. Notify Architect minimum 24 hours prior to commencement of operations.
C. Ensure reinforcement,inserts,embedded items,formed expansion and contraction joint.-,,and vapor barrier �..
{ are not disturbed during concrete placement.
` D. Install construction joint devices in coordination with pattern placement sequence. Set top to required
elevations. Secure to resist movement by wet concrete.
E. Maintain records of concrete placement. Record date,location,quantity,air temperature,and test samples
taken.
F. Place concrete continuously between predetermined expansion,control,and construction joint-,. Do not
interrupt successive placement;do not permit cold joints to occur between construction joint-,.
I G. Deposit concrete in horizontal layers not deeper than 2.feet. Where placement consists of several layers,
