We have no problem with writing similar lettere for all three of these jobs, but felt a better approach would be to get an attachment in the form of building standards or something similar ' hat would solve the problem once and for all. That way we could have a clean, simple plan i review letter should some tenant or agent want to oee it. A separate item which needs to be addressed is Etrergy Conservation. The new requirements in O.S.S.C. Chapter 53 pretty well spells out what sort of information is required. We have some pamphlets and forms which should make the chore a bit easier. The next time you and here we will give you a copy of the material,. I may also express my opinion of the program. The final item is 'Handicap Access' as delineated in OSSC Chapter :.31. We have recently received frown Building Codes Agency a copy of the latest Attorney General Opinion on the subject. The opknion seems to say that we are now required to treat almost all buildings as 'public buildings, and provide full handicap access. Should a group such as Oregon Archit4cts request further clarific.. .ion, and specific requirements and definitions based on this latest opinion, we might all benefit.
