All posts for 8 foot fence will be set in concrete footing of 10"
diameter and 30" deep, (7 posts and 3 terminals) . This portion of

! Purpose for 8 foot fence: i
i
1 . I have 3 cats that I want to protect: from coyotes and
3 unleashed dogs. Although it plainly states that all dogs must r'
be leashed on the greenway, a high percentage are riot, and they
run up into my yard after my pets who are generally in their own
yard.
2 . At the edge of my property adjacent to the greenway is
a flower bed with well established shrubbery. There is also a
steep rise of three feet in ground level. from the greenway at the
end of my property. In addition, the established shrubby (tams,
which themselves are 2-3 feet high and very dense) would make it
w easy for the cats to just walk on top of the shrubbery and get s
' easily over a 6 foot fence. I do not want to tear the shrubbery
out because it gives me privacy and a place for the cats to hide,
keep cool in the summer and dry in the rainy wFather.
3. An 8 foot fence would more likely discourage someone on
the greenway from scaling it than a 6 foot fence. Living alone, I
will feel safer having the back yard fenced. Neighbors have
found people peering in their back windows.
