The bill is to cover PGE's expense in relocating a streetlight pple between Lots 40 and 41 in the Summerlake Subdivision. This pole had to be relocated to accommodate an eight foot bike path. The Summerlake Subdivision is billed under PGE Rate Schedule 91, Option B. The City requires the developer to have streetlights installed by a private contractor. Prior to PGE becoming involved with the street- lights, the City physically inspects the streetligt,ts, paying special attention tr, ' eir location and the type of installation that has been. done. When City finds the streetlights acceptable, they mail us a letter gating that we can energize the lights. E, .usedou will find a copy py of a letter from Bob Thompson, City of Tigc:d, instructing PGE that the streetlights as they were installed in October of 1979 were acceptable. He further informed us that we should go ahead and energize these lights which we did do. We believe since the City physically invpected the lights prior to informing us to turn them on, that any cost in relocating a streetl.igh, which vas placed in the wrong location should be theirs.
