are made, the problem will exist again.

Dear Mr. Bernloehr:
Inspection of the above building with the Tigard Building Department
raises the question of the existing upstairs exits. Your Plans Review
states under part. G, "second story shall have not less than 2 exits
which are easily accessible to all occupants". Se( ond floor layout
as submitted for, this review does not' satisfy this exit requirement.
In conferring with the Building Department in the City of Tigard,
they state and it exists in part of the buildin,i , that if any one area
of the second floor does not have more than 10 people, then only 1 exit
is required. As it stands now, through some alterations, two large
rooms of the upstairs; will or can have 2 exits out. One small area in
the front of about 600 square feet only has 1 exit out.
We are asking for a clarification on this matter. If you have any
further questions , feel free to call me.
