The duplexes located at the above referenced addresses, are to be
removed as part of the SW Gaarde ST realignment. Should these
buildings be relocated within the city limits, they will not be
subject to the following development fees normally associr,ted with �
new development:
TIF (traffic impact fee)
SSDC (storm drain development fQe)
PDC (park development. fee)
The city portion (20'x) of the sanitary sewer connection fee. (USA
will not waive any of its fee or transfer creCit for previously
raid connection fees to another property. )
These fees are charged because each new development impacts a
particular system. Since the location from which these buildings
are be removed is to become public right of way, and will not all.oto
construction of any other such use to replace what is being
removed, the impact to the overall system is not changed.
Additionally, these buildings paid for a street development fee,
park developmFnt fee, and sanitary sewer connection fee as part of
the original building permit process.
The City Council approved waiving of the impact fees for the
"Gaarde House" for the same reasons when it was relocated from a
site adjacent to those above, to another property within the city.
