Reviewed your blueprints for the above proposed construction and have the
following requirements:
1. Due to the size of the building, the occupant load as determined by
our figures indicates ther(, will be approximately 57 people within
this office space. When there are more than 30 people within an
office, a second exit is required. UBC Sec:. 3303
2. Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a .
key, special knowledge or effort. Ptanually operated edge or surfac-e
mounted flush bolts and surface bolts are prohibited. UBC Sec. 3304
3. The second required exit shall be located at least one-half the
overall diagonal distance of the Seafirst space from the other exit.
That is, the exit must be at least 60-feet from the exit shown an
the drawings. UBC Sec. 3303
4. One portably fire extinguisher shall he provided, having a minimum
rating of 2AI08C. UFC Sec. 10.301
