Enclosed for your review are rhe revisions to the Snelling
Personnel pla• 3 that you requested. We have listed the costs
for ADA upgrau,-s, noted mounting heights for switches and
outlets, noted door hardware changes to lever hardware, and
revised the door condition to the conference room to provide
18 inches clear on the pull side of the door.
Item number five (5) , as we discussed, does not apply to this 6
project because we are not doi-ng any work to the existing

The plans for this project were reviewed for conformity with applicable
codes . Please submit the following items for completion of the plan
review process at your earliest convenience :
1 . Architectural barriers up to an expenditure of 25 percent of
the total project cost is required per UBC section 3112 (a) 1 .
Please look at accessible items A-G and submit a price list
which totals 25 percent c . the project cost with the plans
corresponding to such items .
2 . The highest- operable environmental and other controls,
dispensers, rec^ptacles and other c._ erable equipment- shall be
within at least one of the reach ranges specified in S(=,tion
3109 (b) , and not less than 36 inches above the floor. .
Electrical and communications systems receptacles on walls
shall be mounted a minimum of 15 inches high above the floor
(section 3109 (c) 2) .
3 . When a person opens a door towards themselves, an 18 inch
strike edge minimum is required (section 3109 (h) 3 , figure
25 (a) and Table 31-F) . See the conference room door.

5 . Oubmit a typical installation detail of the suspended ceiling
for seismic zone 3 .
Please make these corrections on the appropriate pages of the drawings
and resubmit three copiers of each page to the City of Tigard for review.
