A fire and life safety plan review was conducted on the above captioned
project for compliance with the 1985 editions of the Uniform Building Code
(UBC) , Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC) , and the Uniform Fire Code (UFC) , as
amended by Washington County Fire District No. 1's Ordinance 86-1.
Plans are approved as submitted subject to the following items:
1 Lobby/Exit Corridor Doors: All doors opening into the lobby or exi.t.
corridors must be of the required type to meet and preserve the
integrity of said exit corridors and lobby. These doors must be so
labeled by the manufacturer and equipped with automatic closures and
be fire and smoke gasketed.
2. Exit Door Hardware: i11. doors shown on the drawings must he openable
ii from the inside for immediate exit at all times without she use of a
key, special knowledge, or effort. (UBC Sec. 3304)
3. Approved plans on Job Site: One set of approved plans bearing the
stamps of the Washington County Building Department and this office
must be maintained on the project site throughout all phases of
construction and must be made available to building and faire
inspectors for reference during required construction inspections.

representative of this office is required: (a) prior to the cover of
