Automatic Sprinkler Plans: Plans referred to and examined by this office contain no provisions for the alteration or installation of automatic sprinkler system. Not less than three sets of plans for the installation shall be submitted to this office for approval prior to installation. UBC 302(b) 2. Approved Plans on Job Site: One set of approved plans bearing the stamps of the building department issuing the construction permit and this office must be maintained on the project site throughout all phases of construction and must be made available to building and fire inspectors for reference during required construction inspections.
