Submittal documents for the above referenced project have been reviewed for conformance with
the applicable 1996 Oregon Specialty Codes and other applicable codes and standards. The
following comments are noted:
1. Provide plans approved for curstruction.
A. Every page or sheet of a set of plans containing drawings and specifications
required to be prepared by a Statil Cregon licensed engineer must be
stamped, signed, and must have the expiration date of that engineer h license by
his signature. OAR 820-10-620 and ORS 672.020(2).
2. The stcrm drainage plan shall adequately address the number of catch basins required to
handle the parking lot and hard surface runoff. The Uniform Plumbing Specialty Code
(UPSC) Section 1108 allows a maximum 6"cutlet on each catch basin, and-fable 11-2 ,
limits the maximum surface area one catch basin can serve to 7,133 square feet at 1`Ya
slope of the horizontal line from the catch basin. Additional catch basi)s are required to
adequately serve the area. See Catch Basins 4 and 5.
3. Provide the total square footage of impervious area for the North lot.

Dear Mr. Pearson:
I received plans on 13 May 1996 for two Baugh Construction projects located at 68th Avenue
and Elmhurst Street for Landmark Ford. The parking lots are on seven different tax lots. Our
standard procedure does not allow construction over multa,ie tax lots unless consolidation of
tax lots or deeded consolidation occurs (to prevent compronuse of ownership for the entire
parking lot if one of the tax lots were sold).
The plans and application must be corrected to show two separate permits. (See my sample.)
Someone from your office must submit a second set of plans which identifies only one of the
two parking lots and amend the first set of plans to show only one parking lot. This project
will be held until both groups of plans and applications are complete.
This morning I received a fax that shows additional cost estimates. If we use the additional
$108,367 for the second permit the additional plan check fee needed for plan review is $296.08.
This amount is due before plans are routed to the plans examiner.
