Dear Chris:
An inspection on June 1 , 1991 and subsequent cal.ulations
shows that the 4"x 12" headers and their supports are adequte
to support the imposed loads from the existi.nq roof trusses .
As for occupying the apartment during construction,
their is no reason from a safety standpoint that the unit
could not be occupied as their is no eminent danger of
collapse of the ceiling. The only objmctiort might be an
deathetio one.
