The additional 5 cents/gallon is estimated to raise $1 million annually. This funding source will be dedicated to street systems, safety improvements, pavement management and rights-of-way maintenance and paid for by all drivers who use the city's road network and purchase fuel in Tigard. Marijuana Sales Tax Headed for November Ballot The City Council on July 26 approved placing a ballot measure on the November ballot that would establish a 3 percent sales tax on the sale of marijuana items in Tigard.
