PROCLAMATION
DECEMBER 25, 1984
WHEREAS, the Cities of Sherwood, Tigard and Tualatin, in the spirit

of Christmas are Looking forward to the New Year. and years ahead
with great expectation; and,
WHEREAS, the Cities of Sherwood, Tigard and Tualatin share mutual ,
' concerns for economic development of this tri-city area; and,
�niif * ` WHEREAS, the Cities of Sherwood, Tigard and Tualatin recognize that
joint promotion of the tri-city area is more efficient and
productive than working individually and that the individual
characteristics of the Cities complement each other to form an
attractive and marketable whole; and,
WHEREAS, the Cities of Sherwood, Tigard and Tualatin desire to work
together to enhance economic development and improve the s
intergovernmental cooperation of the three communities to the
benefit of the citizens of the area,
THEREFORE, we, the Mayors of Sherwood, Tigard and Tualatin, hereby
declare the Cities of Sherwood, Tigard and Tualatin to be known
henceforth as Sister Cities. F.
BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the cities invite each of our Chambers
