Dirk, same story with two demo permits, BUP2016-00265 and -00266: because the requisite conditions of approval
have not been met we cannot issue these permits yet so I've marked them Approved but Not Released. Of particular
concern for these demo permits are the tree protection measures. Please have your arborist send a confirmation to
Monica and to me when the protection measures are in place.

Subject: RE:SIT2016-00013 & BUP2016-00261, Storquest--Approved but Not Released
Thank you Albert. Yes, we are aware of these outstanding items- most of which are in process (i.e. SW Pacific Highway
plans/review in process with ODOT, PFI review in process with the City but pending ODOT approval, etc.).
With respect to the:
• Item#1—Tree Protection measures: We will be arranging for the installation of tree protection measures
in the next week or two and will provide verification of this.
• Item#2-Tree Data Inventory Fee —can this fee be paid at the time of permit issuance/pick-up? Is there
any special paperwork associated or do we simply bring a check for that amount?
• Item#3-Tree Establishment Bond—is there specific City paperwork for making this payment? The client
has indicated they would likely just provide a cash payment (rather than a bond)—does this go into some
sort of escrow account that the City holds? With other jurisdictions there has been specific
forms/paperwork associated—is this something we can get started on?
• Item#6-Lighting Plan—our submittal from last week did include (the last sheet I believe—labeled
"Photometric Lighting Plan"from Simkar Lighting Applications)a Lighting Plan. Can you please double check
for this sheet? I am quite certain that it was attached as the last sheet—it's part of the Building Permit
packages(I don't think I included in the Site Work Permit packages).
We will continue to monitor progress of ODOT approvals which will, in turn, impact PFI approval and update City staff
accordingly.
Thank you,

Subject: SIT2016-00013 & BUP2016-00261, Storquest --Approved but Not Released
Dirk, in reviewing the permit applications for Storquest, SIT2016-00013 and BUP2016-00261, we find that multiple
Conditions of Approval under the Land Use case, CUP2016-00001, have not been met. I've attached a list of the
conditions showing their current status and have highlighted those that need to be met. Accordingly, I have classified
these two applications as"Approved but Not Released." Plan Review will proceed but the permits will not be issued
until the appropriate conditions have been met. Please let me know if you have any questions. Albert Shields.

Subject: RE: Submittal Checklist question: Storquest Permits (BUP2016-00261)
Good morning Branden—here is a copy of this Site Work permit application. I'm certain that we had this bundled in
with the folded sets of civil/site work plans (and there were some geotech reports in that same bundle) on Tuesday—
but no matter—here it is again.
As for the split on the demo permit valuations:
The "Retail &Office" building makes up about 95%of the building square footage on site while the "Restaurant" is the
remaining 5%. So, of the $332,979 total demo valuation let's assign:
95%= $316,330 to the Office/Retail building and;
5%=$16,649 to the Restaurant
