Dear Andy:
It's my understanding that straps were not added at the Girder Truss Beams to wall top plates.
The following is the proposed correction:
1. In place of the ST6224 straps to be used at the Girder Truss to wall connections as called
out in the plans and detail 7/S2, a TS22 (or greater) may be used. The twist strap has a
capacity of 1215 pounds which is greater than the actual calculated values (maximum
calculated value is at the lower floor, 918 pounds).
