The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code(OSSC)
2004 edition, Oregon Fire Code 2004 edition; and NFPA 13. The following information is
required in order to complete the review.
1. Documents for deferred submittal items shall be submitted to the registered design
professional in responsible charge who shall review them and forward them to the building
official with a notation indicating that the deferred submittal documents have been reviewed
and been found to be in general conformance to the design of the building.The deferred
submittal items shall not be installed until the design and submittal documents have been
approved by the building official. OSSC 106.3.4.2
2. The submitted plans are incomplete,the following list indicates what is required on plans,the

if dead-end, the direction and distance to the nearest circulating main, and the city

main test results including elevation of the test hydrant**
(12)The make, manufacturer,type,heat-response element,temperature rating, and
nominal orifice size of the sprinkler
(13)The temperature rating and location of high-temperature sprinklers

(16)The type of pipe and fittings
(17)The type of protection for nonmetallic pipe*

3. The approved plans show Buildings 1,2,3,5,6,&7 are type V-lhour 2 story buildings. Your
submitted plans and sprinkler calculations do not match the approved set of plans.
Please provide an item by item response.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
enclosed City of Tigard,Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of
Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.
