The weight of 2'-6" V/IOC letters is 110 lbs. Its built in two sections so each one is around 60 lbs.
The weight of the two 1'-4"x12' bay indicators is 50 lbs each.
Let me know if sealed engineer stamped drawings are required.

Subject: Couple issues with Valvoline 12398 SW Scholls Ferry Rd Tigard OR
Hi Tina "'
The City of Tigard requires that an owner of the property or their representative sign these two sign permit
applications.
Also, the main sign #1 that is the channel letter set on a raceway requires a building permit in addition to the
sign permit because it's total weight is over 20 lbs. If the sign weight is over 70 lbs it will also require
engineering, unless you can provide me with something that shows it's not over 70 lbs?
This is also an issue with the rear elevation Bay indicators. I'm thinking that a sign permit for each of them is
not required because these aren't visible to a street and are meant only for the people at the site for
directional purposes.
However, even if they waive the sign permits, they will probably require a building permit for the structure
and again, if the weight is over 70 lbs per indicator, engineering is required.
I need to know their individual weights.
Let me know so I can resubmit with the signatures and engineering if needed.
Thanks,
Jaylene
