The Tigard Public Library welcomes children who have completed kindergarten through 5th
grade, to "catch the wave" of outdoor fun and exploration by registering for the summer camp.
The camp program is scheduled at three different City of Tigard parks. Camp activities are led
by experienced educational professionals and include a variety of activities such as: arts and
crafts, games and sports, stories and songs, and nature science.
Camp Days & Times: Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. -12 noon
Camp Tuition: $25/child per session ($22/siblings per session)
Camp Locations: Fanno Creek Park, 13125 SW Hall Blvd. (between Tigard Public Library & Senior Center)
Cook Park, 17005 SW 92nd Dr.
Summerlake Park, 11450 SW Winterlake Dr.
General Information: Children will be divided into age groups. Pre-registration is required, enrollment is limited.

Adventure Fees: $20 per adventure (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.), includes supervision, transportation and
admission fees.
EXTENDED DAY Adventure Fee: $25 per Friday (7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.), includes supervision and activities before
and after the Friday adventure, transportation and admission fees. The extended day activities will be held
at the Tigard Public Library. Optional: Parents may send a snack.
Bring a sack lunch and a drink daily. Please label all personal belongings and carry in backpack.
Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes. Dress child/ren appropriately for the activity & outdoor weather.

August 5 Fishing at the Rainbow Trout Farm located near Sandy. Sellwood Swimming Pool in the afternoon.
Bring swim suit and towel.
August 12 Portland Audubon Society program of "Wet & Wild" at Summerlake Park, then off we go to Games
People Play (arcade & video games).
August 19 Fossil Hunting in the Timber-Vernonia area. Let's also stop and catch some crayfish in the
Nehalem River. Bring along a small hammer & chisel.
Pre-registration is required, all adventures have limited enrollment, so register early.
Transportation & drivers are provided by Mayflower Bus Services.
