Tigard hires Faha and Wright to fill key roles
Tigard's Public Works Department has hired Lori Faha as
its new city engineer, and Michelle Wright has been
promoted to assistant public works director.
Wright has more than 20 years of personnel management, r
business management and financial and budget analysis
experience in the public and private sectors. She graduated
from Concordia University with a bachelor's degree in
business management.Wright has spent most of her career
as a business manager in public works agencies developing
innovative strategies for operational improvements. Prior
to her new position,Wright served as the department's . _.
business manager.
Faha has more than 30 years of experience working as a Public works department new hires
consultant and as a local government program and policy ircght(left) and Faha (rigbt�
manager. She has a professional background in stormwater
management, as well as overall capital improvement program development and project management
in the Portland area. Faha graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in civil
and water resources engineering. She is a registered engineer in the State of Oregon and an active
member of the American Public Works Association. Before joining the department, Faha was a
water resources consultant with GreenWorks PC.
According to Public Works Director Brian Rager, "I'm happy we were able to attract—and promote
in Michelle's case—such talented and capable women. From day one,Michelle and Lori rolled up
their sleeves and took charge of several complicated public works projects. I know they will serve
the Tigard community well."
