1. CALL TO ORDER

Attendees: Nicole Bintliff,Marie Piatski, Zahra Hashmat,Mike Coloma,Adam Stack, Zack Dean,Marland
Henderson (Councilor), and Dent Wyatt (City stay.
Unexcused: Sarah Oh
Excused: Tyler Nickla
3. MINUTES
Approved minutes from November 19 meeting.
4. OLD BUSINESS:
Selected Sidney Dauphinais and Eddie Bednarek as recipients of the Youth Spotlight for October. The
pair placed first in Dual Interpretation at the Barlow Invitational Speech and Debate Tournament.
Discussed the interview sheet for new members and process of bringing them onto the council.
Discussed fundraising ideas and where funds should be directed.
Debated whether funds should be used to send a third person to the National League of Cities
Conference in Washington,DC.
Talked about the possibility of partnering with other youth councils.
Decided to devote funds raised from the winter project to the DC trip.

5.NEW BUSINESS:
Reviewed and discussed the application for the DC trip.
Discussed finding a venue for fundraiser.
Discussed allowing seniors on the TYAC to apply for the DC trip.
Agreed to support the City of Tigard in raising awareness on changes to trails.
5. ADJOURN
This meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
