MEETING DATE/TIME: Thursday, October 1 at 5:00 p.m.

1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:05pm
2. ROLL CALL
In attendance:Adam LaFountain,Mike Coloma, Zahra Hasmat, Sarah Oh,Tyler Nickla,Nicole Bintlif£
Staff in attendance: Kent Wyatt, Councilor Henderson.
3. MINUTES
Draft minutes from September 15 were approved.
4. OLD BUSINESS
Voted to remove Elsa Schuman from TYAC.
Motioned and approved Morgan Chamberlin as Youth Spotlight for September. She's being recognized
for creating the "Power T" mural in the cafeteria. Nicole will interview Morgan and gave her a
certificate.
Discussed the outcome of Club Rush and how to attract new members.
Continued discussion on possible ideas for fundraisers. Nicole and Zack will talk to leadership about
selling Jamba Juice at the school. Adam will talk with Burgerville about fundraising.
Proceeds from the fundraisers will be used for My New Red Shoes.
5. NEW BUSINESS
Confirmed a meeting with Noelle Dobson, Senior Public Affairs Specialist,Planning and Development
on October 15.
Kent has secured a City of Tigard email address for TYAC.
Group agreed to transfer the current TYAC website onto the city's website.
Considered amending the bylaws of a set range of TYAC membership at 10-20 members
Considered fundraisers at Jamba or Burgerville
Rescheduled meeting day for the week of Halloween rooms
