Good morning Dan,
Thank you for your phone message of last Friday regarding this TI project.
The wood slats are to be Poplar which does achieve a Class "C" rating.
Poplar does have a Class "C" rating with a Flame Spread Index of 170 -185 (within
the acceptable range of 76-200).
Please see page 2 of the enclosed table indicating the Class "C" rating of Poplar and citing UL as
the source (based upon UL723).
What is the best means to provide this information to you? Do you need updated sets
or would you want to mark this on the documents? Is there anything else you require
from us at this point?

Diana in the Building Department had provided me with a plan check intake sum of$5,301.40
(including $2019.58 for FLS review) for a commercial TI valuation of$800,000.
My client is out-of state and their accounting dept requires some form of documentation via an
email that has this sum on it with the City of Tigard's letterhead. Could you send me an
email with this information on it?
