Unbalanced live/snow loads have been considered. Significant design considerations are as follows: 1. Per ASCE 7-10 section 12.2.5.2 the cantilevered column must be limited to no more than 15% stress for axial loads only. This criteria has been met. 2. The foundations and anchorage for the cantilevered column system must be designed using the seismic load combinations with over-strength factors in section 12.4.3.3. This has been done. 3.
