Lamb; C. E. Klock; Mayor E. G. Kyle; City
Attorney F. A. Anderson and L. A. Bissett

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M, by President
Phillips and reading of the minutes of December 10, 1964,
werp requested. Following reading of the minute$ upon
call for coriections or amissions, none being offered the �

minutes were ordered to stand approve�d as read.
President Phillips: I did securp Jim Aitken as a member i
to Planning and Zoning Commission and he will be here to-
night. His term was desinnated to expire July 196A. ,;
' J, H. Schulte: 2 mo��e we accept Jim Aitken as a new member ��
of Planning and Zoning Commission. Motion seconded by
Ben Brazauski and upon ca17. for vote was unanimously
approved majority member� being present.
Mayor Kyle: Mx. Klo�k will attend the Planning and Zoning
meetings as ex officio member. I will attend when I can.
President Phillips: I would lik� to read a 3.etter from
Ralph V. Symons. (Reading letter o£ resignation as Secretary
of Planning and Zoning Commission)
L. A. Good: 2 move we accept the resignation ot Ralph Symons.
Motion s�conded by Hen Brazauski and upon call for vote was
unanimously approved majority memb�rs present. ;j
President Phillips: Doris Hartig has consented to serve
as temporary Secretary.
Mayor ICyle stated he had received a letter from Mr. John t�
Perry, 14825 S W. Beef Bend Roac�, offering to serve on
�� the Planning and Zoning Gommission as non-xesident member.
President Phill.ips stated at the present time all positions i
on the Commisaion were filled, f

President Phillips: We have a request for a zone change �.
on S.W. Walnut Stre�t, Tax Lot ?.100, Mt. Tiood EMCavating !
Co. (reading letter) We have received no abjections or r;
calla on this, is there any discuasion.
� After some diacuRSion J, H. Schulte made a motion to approve '
the zone change from C-2 to A-2 (multiple dwelling) . Motion ?�
seconded by Ben Brazauski and upon call tor vot� motion was ''

President Phillips r.ead a letter from Attorney Fred A. ;;
Anderaon regarding public hearings and procedures with �
a respect to Planning and Zoning. The matter was discussed
`. by Commission members and Mr. Anderson. The Commission ;
approvPd a meeting in Attorney Anderson's office, Tueaday,
January 26, 1965, at 7:30 P.M. to discuss the rewriting �;
o£ Ordinance 63-8 with respect to pubYic hearings.
President Phillipa reviewed the changes in the Planning
and Zoning Sub-Division Ordinance and stated no objections �;
had been received.

Ben Brazauski: 2 move the Planning and Zoning Commission
recommend to City Council the appzoval of the ahanges in
Planning and 2oning Ordinance 63-6. Motion seconded by
L. D. Good �nd upon ca11 for vote was unanimausly approved
majority members present.

President Phillips. For our future planning I would like
to tuxn the meeting over. to Larry Bissett.
Larry Bissett (showing maps) explained the new maps will
show recent zone changes and wzll soon be available for
Commission Members.
Motion by L D. Good ta adjourn, seconded by C. R. Lamb anc� `
