Between 80 and 90 teens sign up for the program that runs from late June through August. The teens are divided into groups of 20 to 25, and can work either a morning or afternoon shift. Each group is led by a teen leader who was chosen for their maturity, responsibility and previous library experience. These groups shelve books throughout the summer, and are a big help in getting materials back on the shelves quickly so they can be checked out again. 6.
