We checked with Washington County and they do not require any separate zoning review (see below). Verizon's construction schedule has undergone some reconfiguring so this project may be a couple months out before BP pickup. Are we ok regarding expiration? We are fine with continuing the building permit process, there is nothing needed from Washington County Planning. The address is 17026 Friendly Lane. It was previously in Washington County's jurisdiction and they have requested Land Use clearance from Washington County. Would you please reply-all to this email if the City of Tigard may proceed with reviewing the Building Permit Application? I have included a basic response to the exemption criteria below. If you would like any more detail, please let me know. B. Replacement of existing antennas and transmitters on lawfully established telecommunication facilities, provided: (1) They are mounted using similar techniques as that of the antennas and transmitters they are replacing in order to minimize visual impact, or in the case of replacing antennas and transmitters on a Facility 2 tower, replacement antennas and transmitters shall also be designed as Facility 2; There will be no change to mounting system per plans (attached) (2) They are made of non-reflective material and painted to match the telecommunication facility or existing antennas and transmitters, whichever results in the replacement antennas and transmitters being less visible, or are placed in the tower; They will be of similar color and material as existing per plans. (3) Replacement does not result in an increase in the number of antennas or transmitters (e.g., like antennas or transmitters may be replaced with like antennas or transmitters). Notwithstanding, existing antennas and transmitters may remain for a period not to exceed six (6) months in order to accommodate the transfer of service from the existing antennas or transmitters to the replacement antennas or transmitters; and The total number of antennas is 12 and will remain 12 per plans. (4) Replacement antennas or transmitters do not exceed the size (e.g., area or length) of existing antennas or transmitters by more than twenty (20) percent. 2 All replacement antennas will be smaller in visual surface area than the existing antennas. Please see attached excel sheet. I factored depth into the visual surface area because of the shape of these particular existing antennas. Also attached are the spec sheets. We will require documentation of Washington County's approval before we can issue the permit. Prior to issuance we will also need to have the contractor identified. When I went to receipt the payment for the permit fees, I realized the check amount was more than the permit fee. The check (#2622) was for$465.51 and the total permit fee is$456.51. Please see the attached fee schedule. We cannot refund the overage, so I am returning your check by mail. You can either mail another check for the correct amount to my attention or you can pay the fees when someone comes in to pick it up. Please let me know if you have any questions.
