Small Project Nominations The City has a small amount of money set aside for projects beneficial to pedestrians and cyclists in Tigard. While this will often be used as matching funds for grants, some of this funding will be available for small projects. The desire is to create a list of projects that could be completed with this funding, or other funding that may become available. We anticipate that this list will be revisited regularly to add, delete, and/or reprioritize projects. The following small projects were nominated: Sidewalk repairs due to rising tree roots on Cottonwood Dr Streetlights at the McDonald/97th crosswalk An enhanced (flashing lights, etc) crossing of McDonald St between Hall and 99W An enhanced (flashing lights, etc) crossing of Greenburg Rd between Tiedeman and 99W Bikes and pedestrians on roadway signs on the narrow portions of 121St Ave and Fonner St Curb Ramps at the Fanno Creek Trail crossing of Tiedeman Ave (note: the Parks dept is working on this, but we'll keep it on the list until it is constructed) Lighting along the Fanno Creek Trail Signage along the Fanno Creek Trail and other trails Extra space for pedestrians and cyclists along 95th Ave at its crest between Greenburg and North Dakota and in the curve where 95th becomes Shady Ln Sidewalks along Bull Mountain Road Safe Routes to School Program Sidewalks along Tiedeman Ave from Fanno Creek to Tigard St A paved bulbout for cyclists crossing the sharp-angle railroad crossing on 72nd Ave south of Bonita A short section of sidewalk on the northwest corner of the Durham/Upper Boones Ferry intersection Pedestrian islands to shorten the long crossing of Shady Ln along Greenburg Rd Short sections of trail recommended in the Neighborhood Trails Plan.
