NOTE:
This memo is intended to provide our recommendations for changes to the original
engineering. It is our understanding that the 6/0 slider door at the basement level
is being shifted from back wall to the right side. The new header will support 8.5ft
tributary floor load and a post supporting the window headers in the master bed
and great room. The post above shall be a maximum of 6" from the beam support.
We recommend using a 4x10 D.F. #2 header for this door.
