Dear Mr. MacFarlane:
April 8, 2014 for a change of land use at 11642 Pacific Highway. Unfortunately we have
found it incomplete and require a revised application as detailed below.
1. A floorplan of the building is required. The plan should include square footages for
each tenant space and the name of the tenant. Please note that per our conversation
the City has recently observed several recent changes of use on the property that did
not obtain the required land use approval. This permit is an opportunity to rectify that
situation in lieu of a code enforcement action.
2. Required garbage enclosures approved in a previous land use and building permits
related to Tigard Auto Detailing (MMD2012-00007 / MST 2012-00014) have not been
constructed as proposed and improved in issued permits. This places Tigard Auto
Detailing at risk of code enforcement and another stop work order, and may delay or
complicate the approval of your proposed change of use. If the approved location
and design of the trash enclosure does not work for you or the waste hauler, we can
discuss an alternative location and/or design as part of the present application.
3. Contact information for the property owner was not provided as part of the
application. Please provide a current mailing address and phone number.

ADDENDUM
Applicant, Don MacFarlane, upon receipt of John Floyds Notice dated April 11, 2014,
MMD2014-00007 contacted both property owners Bobby Champion and Casey Bernard
in regards/reference to items#1 and#2 of John Floyds notice.
Property owner Casey Bernard relayed to Mr. MacFarlane he would send his engineer/
architect Lisa in to handle these matters. Mr. MacFarlane contacted both Bobby Champion
and Casey Bernard the same day he received this noitce from city of Tigard back in April,
2014.
Mr. MacFarlane contacted Mr. Floyd via telephone to discuss#1 and#2 back in Apil
relaying to Mr. Floyd that co-owner of building Casey Bernard assured Mr. MacFarlane
that he would have his Architect/engineer Lisa go into the city of Tigard to take care
of these underlying problems of#1 and#2 back in April.
To this very day of September 23, 2014, neither property owner Bobby Champion or
Casey Bernard will rectify and/or address#1 and#2 of John Floyds notice dated April
11, 2014.
Mr. MacFarlane also alerted Amazing Auto detail back in April because the letter also
concerned their business transactions.
The garbage cans and all existing business's were already in their exact locations prior to
Mr. MacFarlane leasing his square footage of this property.

Our [proposed] business I believe falls under a less stringent parking mandate
along the lines of 3.0 Nonetheless, there is abundant parking on the premises
of 11642 in front, along side of building, back of building, and even more parking
farther down past paved parking at rear of building down in gravel parking
past paved parking out back. This location essentionally has massive
abundant parking. Treazures square footage is 1,300.

ADDENDUM
Applicant, Don MacFarlane, upon receipt of John Floyds Notice dated April 11, 2014,
MMD2014-00007 contacted both property owners Bobby Champion and Casey Bernard
in regards/reference to items#1 and#2 of John Floyds notice.
Property owner Casey Bernard relayed to Mr. MacFarlane he would send his engineer/
architect Lisa in to handle these matters. Mr. MacFarlane contacted both Bobby Champion
and Casey Bernard the same day he received this noitce from city of Tigard back in April,
2014.
Mr. MacFarlane contacted Mr. Floyd via telephone to discuss#1 and #2 back in Apil
relaying to Mr. Floyd that co-owner of building Casey Bernard assured Mr. MacFarlane
that he would have his Architect/engineer Lisa go into the city of Tigard to take care
of these underlying problems of#1 and#2 back in April.
To this very day of September 23, 2014, neither property owner Bobby Champion or
Casey Bernard will rectify and/or address#1 and#2 of John Floyds notice dated April
11, 2014.
Mr. MacFarlane also alerted Amazing Auto detail back in April because the letter also
concerned their business transactions.
The garbage cans and all existing business's were already in their exact locations prior to
Mr. MacFarlane leasing his square footage of this property.

Dear Mr. MacFarlane:
April 8, 2014 for a change of land use at 11642 Pacific Highway. Unfortunately we have
found it incomplete and require a revised application as detailed below.
1. A floorplan of the building is required. The plan should include square footages for
each tenant space and the name of the tenant. Please note that per our conversation
the City has recently observed several recent changes of use on the property that did
not obtain the required land use approval. This permit is an opportunity to rectify that
situation in lieu of a code enforcement action.
2. Required garbage enclosures approved in a previous land use and building permits
related to Tigard Auto Detailing (MMD2012-00007 / MST2012-00014) have not been
constructed as proposed and improved in issued permits. This places Tigard Auto
Detailing at risk of code enforcement and another stop work order, and may delay or
complicate the approval of your proposed change of use. If the approved location
and design of the trash enclosure does not work for you or the waste hauler, we can
discuss an alternative location and/or design as part of the present application.
3. Contact information for the property owner was not provided as part of the
application. Please provide a current mailing address and phone number.
