The indoor storage of materials or products shall not exceed the limitations imposed by the provisions of the building, fire, health and housing codes; 5. A home occupation shall not make necessary a change in the Uniform Building Code use classification of a dwelling unit. Any accessory building that is used must meet Uniform Building Code requirements and be in conformance with TCDC Section 18.742.040 of this title; 6. More than one (1) business activity constituting two or more home occupations shall be allowed on one property, only if the combined floor space of the business activities does not exceed 25 percent of the combined gross floor area of the residence and accessory structure. Each home occupation shall apply for a separate home occupation permit. NOTE: The Tigard Business Tax requires payment for only one (1) Business Tax if the same owner is operating more than one approved business at the same location. Although payment for each separate business is not required, it is required that all names of the businesses which are currently in operation at that location be specifically listed on the Business Tax Certificate and be visibly posted at the business location; 7. You mentioned that the applicant is seeking is to add a half-time employee in the home for clerical work for TJ Construction. You also mentioned that the permit would not allow any exterior activity that would reveal an interior home occupation. Given those assurances, we have no objection to a home occupation permit for the applicant, however we request that under Chapter 18.742 of the Tigard Community Development Code, you set conditions of approval under Section 18.742.060 (C.)that preserve the current residential appearance, nature, and exterior uses. We ask that your conditions include: a. No expansion of the current two-car, off-street parking area, and no increase in the street-side parking of vehicles. b. No expansion of traffic to and from the residence beyond what occurs as a normal residential use. c. No intrusion on the street right of way by vehicles or equipment. d.
