After reviewing this case with Mark, he has determined that it is OK for the potential buyer to submit the truss details
and additional measures that Dan requested of the owner on 8/10/2012. The potential buyer may also pay for all
remaining permit fees and they can pick up the permit that will be issued in the name of the current owner.
This permit was taken out by the current owner for work already completed. If upon inspection it is determined that
additional work is being done, a licensed contractor must be identified for this permit as the current owner no longer
resides in the residence.
I have returned the permit application and plans to Dan's work area.

Subject: MST2012-00196: 9670 Hillview Ct.
A potential buyer of a home inquired about a permit yesterday that had been submitted by the homeowner in
2012. Evidently, the work was completed after submitting for plan review, but the permit has not been reviewed and
issued. Dan informed the potential buyer that if the buyer was able to provide truss details, we would be able to
complete plan review and issue the permit. Dianna believes that since the fees were paid by the homeowner, we
cannot issue the permit to the buyer, and the buyer would have to pull his own permit.
The buyer left the building department with the idea that if he is able to come up with the truss details from the
manufacturer, the permit will be issued. However,the homeowner now resides in Eugene, is difficult to contact, and
the buyer isn't officially the owner yet. I don't believe the buyer will be able to come up with truss details until after
your return from vacation, so I don't believe this is a pressing situation. What are your thoughts?
