Dennis Woods - Mackenzie /Saito & Associates (MSA)
The following items were discussed:
1. Dave Scott requested the following in order to maintain open stair #3 at the lobby of the first and second floors:
a. The underside of stair stringers/landings and all wall surfaces around the stair are to have one layer of Type X rock
(each side at walls). In addition, the stair stringers between the second and third floor are to have a one -hour,
horizontal shaft liner.
b. The stair at the third floor and the second floor between the first and second floors is to be enclosed with a one -hour
door with smoke gaskets.
c. All elevator lobby doors on all floors are to be tied together on a magnetic hold open - -if one closes, they all close.
The elevator lobby magnetic hold open is to be tied to the corridor and tenant alarm system for each floor.
2. With the above -noted conditions, all other door and glass openings into this area can be treated as noted in the previously
approved alternate design (i.e., additional sprinkler heads, smoke detection, and alarm system).
3. Dave asked that we resubmit the revisions as discussed and that all revisions be on large sheets (no 8 -1/2 x 11's).
Every effort has been made to accurately record this meeting. If any errors or omissions are noted, please provide written
response within five days of receipt.
