• Install 26 gauge pre- painted steel anti- ponding metal over eave riser strip, built in gutter flange
and underneath 401b felt underlayment.
Roof Valleys
• Install a 26 gauge pre- painted steel, 24" wide stock, double trough tile valley flashing.
• Miter concrete tile along line of valley in an open valley configuration.
Roof to Wall Abutments
• At side wall junctions, install 26 gauge pre - painted steel 8" x 18" step shingles over each course
of concrete tile and turned up under existing counter flashing.
• At upper roof to wall junctions where the existing wall cladding has been over built to extend over
the existing head flashing thereby limiting the ability to install new flashing, install 26 gauge pre -
painted steel flashing extension metal up under existing head flashing and down over concrete
tile. Rivet new extension flashing to existing flashing at upper edge and clip bottom edge to a
metal cleat that will be fastened over the top edge of the new roof tile.
Fasteners
• Use electro - plated air- driven fasteners to secure batten system.
• Use 6d galvanized hand nails to secure concrete tile to batten system.
Warranties
• Property owner will receive manufacturer's material warranty per material selection.
• CC & L Roofing Company does not warranty the concrete tile used in this project for the
indicated manufacturer's warranty period.
• CC & L Roofing Company will supply a five year installation warranty.
Deterioration Repairs
• Replacement of dry-rot or deteriorated lumber will be completed on as necessary basis at an
additional charge of $75.00 per man hour for labor, and materials supplied at cost plus 15 %.
Attic & Interior Areas
• Removing roofing material may result in dust and debris falling into attic space. If homeowner
has storage in attic areas, please cover items stored there. CC&L Roofing Company assumes no
liability for damage to contents. CC &L Roofing Company does not clean attics.
• Removing and /or installing roofing materials may cause minor interior vibration and dust. We
recommend securing pictures or breakable items that may be affected by vibrations and covering
any electronic equipment that may be damaged by dust. CC &L Roofing Company assumes no
liability for damage to interior items by dust or vibration.
Job Site Clean-up
• CC &L Roofing Company will use a company dump truck for removal and disposal of debris
from above work in lieu of using a container. Truck will be removed daily from driveway.
• Job site will be cleaned daily as well as possible. At conclusion of project, a final clean -up will be
performed including cleaning of debris from gutters. Dispose of all debris from above work
Job Site Safety
• CC&L Roofing Company is a Drug Free Company requiring employees to satisfactorily pass a
drug screening test at time of initial employment and maintains an ongoing random testing
program.

♦ Employees are required to adhere to the CC &L Roofing Company Safety Standards and
Guidelines that are currently in use.
• Employees are also required to be in compliance with Oregon Occupational Health and Safety
(OSHA) or Washington Industrial Safety and Health Administration (WISHA) guidelines.
All the above work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices for the sum of:
TWENTY SIX THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FORTY SEVEN and 00 /100 Dollars ($26,547.00)
Payable net 10 for work completed by the 30 of the preceding month and balance upon completion
We may withdraw this proposal if not accepted within fifteen (15) days. Any deviation from the above
specifications will be executed only upon written orders and may become an extra charge over the sum
as set forth in the contract above.
CC & L Roofing Company agrees to carry Workman's Compensation and Public Liability Insurance, also to pay, Old Age
Benefit and Unemployment Compensation Taxes upon the material and labor furnished under the contract, as required by the
United States Government and the State in which this work is performed.
Owner acknowledges that heavy trucks are required to deliver material to roof edge. CC & L Roofing Co assumes no liability for damage to
driveway caused by trucks.
Should any failure of the above work result in interior leakage, CC & L Roofing and the customer are committed to acting promptly so that
roof leaks are not a source of potential mold growth. Owner will make periodic inspections for signs of water intrusion and act promptly,
including notice to CC & L Roofing if owner believes there are roof leaks, to correct the condition. Upon receiving notice, CC & L Roofing
will make repairs promptly so that water entry through the roofing installed by CC & L Roofing is not the source of moisture. CC & L
Roofing is not responsible for indoor air quality. Owner shall hold harmless and indemnify CC & L Roofing from claims due to poor indoor
quality and resulting from a failure by Owner to maintain the interior of the building in a manner to avoid growth of mold.

Acceptance
You are hereby authorized to furnish all materials and labor required to complete the work specified in
the above proposal, for which the undersigned agrees to pay the amount as shown above and in
accordance with the terms therein.
I acknowledge having received a copy of the State Construction Contractors Board Information Notice
to Owner about Construction Liens, including the Consumer Protection Notice and Notice of
Procedure.
Binding Arbitration: Owner agrees to arbitration if any disputes arise out of the work under this contract. CC&L and the Owner agree
to exercise their best efforts in good faith to resolve all disputes. If no agreement can be reached, both parties agree that an arbitrator from
the Better Business Bureau will be called in to settle disputes. Owner and CC&L both agree to follow the recommendations of the arbitrator.
It is further agreed that if the charges made shall remain unpaid for a period of thirty (30) days beyond the pay period above specified, that
any balance so remaining unpaid shall be subject to a monthly late payment charge and shall bear interest at the highest rate permitted by
law. In the event that any suit or action is instituted to collect any amount due under my account, whether principle or interest or both, I
agree to pay in addition to the costs provided by law, a reasonable sum as attorney's fees.
