We appreciate the opportunity to submit the following roofing and sheet metal proposal for
your consideration
General Specifications
1. Furnish all required certificates of insurance prior to job commencement.
2. Comply with all OSHA required safety standards and procedures throughout the project.
3. Establish a fall protection plan for this project. In addition to establishing a safe work site we
will maintain protection of your buildings and grounds.
4. Maintain a clean, watertight and orderly job site and upon completion remove all roofing
debris.
5. Provide a 5-year workmanship warranty from Columbia Construction Services, Inc. and the

Roofing and Sheet Metal Specifications
1. Prepare and protect landscaping and decks with tarps and plywood prior too removal of
existing roof.
2. Tear off existing the roof and dispose of offsite and prepare skip sheeting for new plywood.
Please note: Any dry rot repair will be billed in addition at $78.00 per hour and material plus
15% for overhead and profit.
3. Inspect attic for mold and water damage and report to Bonita Firs project manager and
repair as directed.
4. Remove siding and add crickets to chimneys then replace siding as needed. Note:
Chimneys will be billed at $78 per hour not to exceed 4 hours per chimney plus material
and 1 S% for overhead and profit.
5. Fumish and install Y /z" CDX plywood over skip sheeting. Note: Some units have plywood
installed and the plywood and labor will be deducted from the bid.
6. Furnish and install new ASTM 30# roofing felt prior too installing composition shingles.

7. Fumish and install new prepainted 26 gauge drip edge and rake edge flashing prior too
installing new composition shingles. Note: Drip edge will be fabricated for height from the
raised fascia so gutters and fascia do not have to be removed and replaced.
8. Furnish and install starter shingles prior too installing new asphalt shingles.
9. Furnish andrinstall new IKO Cambridge 30 fiberglass asphalt shingles to manufacture's
specifications. Note: See brochure for warranty information.
10. Fumish and install new lead pipe flashings.
11. Fumish and install new RVO 38 prepainted metal vents. Note: Average amount of vents
installed will be 6 per unit.
12. Fabricate and install new chimney flashing.
13. Cut in and Install ridgevent and odd extra bird block venting as needed.
14. Fumish and Install new standard hip and ridge.
15. Clean up all roofing construcfion related debris and use magnet to pick up any loose nails
and dispose of offsite.
16. Upon completion and payment furnish all warranties as outlined above.

Exclusions
1. We will not be liable for any interior damage or clean up including damage caused by
falling dust or debris.
2. Price is subject to change due to the volatility of the market.
3. We will not be Gable for any sheet rock cracks or paint peeling due to rerrioval'of eating
roof. Note: We advise removal of any paintings or mirrors before tear -off.
4. We will supply the required reroofing permit and bill in addition to the sum of the contract
for the direct cost of the permit only.
5. Zinc strips work only if installed every 6 to 8 feet. Keeping roof clean will do a better Job
than zinc strip.
