NOTE:
This memo is to inform you of our recommendations for changes to the original
engineering design. As requested by the contractor we have revised detail D7 from
our October 15, 2013 memo sent previously. The 8x8 post will now stop at the
mezzanine level. We eliminated the notch at the post to let in the existing beam,
by sitting the beam onto a post. Also revised the upper roof joists to sit on top of
the beam and not hung to the side.
See attached revised detail D7.
