The permit for placement of fill material on your above referenced property has
been approved subject to the following:
o Prior tc the placement of any fill or grading work, all required erosion
control methods shall be in place. This includes:
- Installation of a gravel driveway. Clean or replace as needed to keep
clear of dirt.
- Installation of a silt barrier.
The silt barrier shall remain in place until the fill area has been
provided with permanent ground cover (i.e. bark dust, grass, or other
landscaping). NOTE: the silt barrier must be countersunk into the ground.
o Streets shall be kept clear of dirt and debris at all times. This includes:
- Removing dirt and debris by use of shovel, scoop, or similar
mechanical means immediately after being dropped onto the street..
Sweeping the streets as required to keep them clean.
- Washing of streets shall not be permitted unless the storm drain inlets
are protected with a filter system.
o No fill shall be placed so as to change direction, block or hinder the natural
drainage from adjacent property.
o No fill shall be placed on or over a public or private utility easement without
specific approval.
o The elope of any fill shall not exceed 2 horizontal to 1 vertical.
o In order to place a structure on any fill, a report prepared by a qualified
individual (i.e. Registered Soil Engineer), that confirms the soil bearing
capability shall be submitted to the Building Division.
o The City shall be contacted for an inspection of:
- The erosion control prior to start of fill or grading.
- The completed fill, after final grading.
- The completed permanent erosion control measures (i.e. seeding, ground
covering, barkdust, landscaping, etc.).
- As otherwise specified.
