D: Onsite to observe the truss repair of the damaged trusses at Canterbury Woods Condominiums
Building #9. It was requested by the City of Tigard that continuous inspection of the application of
the liquid nails LN601 be performed by our office.
Our observations noted the following;
o 3/8 inch plywood gussets each side with (2) beads of liquid nails LN601 and 15 ga.
staples at approximately 3 inches on center were used to repair (5) damaged trusses
over Unit 982 of the Canterbury Condominiums. The damaged truss members were
removed and replaced with new DF #2 kiln -dried members per plan. The adhesive
beads were applied continuous and all work observed appeared to be in accordance
with the construction documents.
