RE: On Site meeting with Owners/ Landscape Architect/Brentwood Homes
At 1:30 PM on this date I met with the subject parties at the file address to discuss the need of a
possible fill permit.
The owners have a drainage course installed by USA, as I understand with out owner permission. The
owners now want to fill in a portion of this runoff area in order to align it with their existing foundation
grade.
After measurements of the proposed area, it was concluded that they would require between 50 and 55
cubic yards of fill to accomplish the look they desired. Since this amount of fill is within a plus or minus
of 10% of the 50 cubic yards allowed by code, I have stated that the City would not require a permit.
However, the owners have been advised that should the amount of fill exceed the 55 cubic yards, a
permit and associated requirements would be required.
Since I am aware of the area they intend to fill which will require the yardage discussed in this memo, I
will monitor the work unto completion.
