APPLICATION FOR DEMOLITION PERMIT
RE: Demolition of White Brick Building located at Northwest
Landscape Industries. Property address: 16075 SW Upper Boones
Ferry Road.
We propose to demolish an old white brick building located on our
site along SW Upper Boones Ferry Road. The site will be levelled
and landscaped. See the attached applicant's statement which was
submitted for a temporary use permit.
1) A plot plan is attached. There should be no erosion issues.
The site will be landscaped immediately after the building is
removed.
2) The demolition will continue un- interrupted until completion.
3) All debris will be removed from the site promptly. We have
trucks and other equipment to accomplish this disposal.
4) We are working with Portland General Electric to insure the
electricity is properly disconnected. We will not proceed with
demolition until this has been completed. There are no other
utilities.
5 & 6) There is no septic tank or sewer hookup attached to this
building.
7) The property does not have a well.
8) There are no vaults or open pits on this site.
9) The brick building does not contain asbestos or any insulating
products contained in the building.
Thank you,

APPLICANT'S STATEMENT
NORTHWEST LANDSCAPE INDUSTRIES
DESCRIPTION OF IMPROVEMENT PLAN
We will raze and remove the old white brick building in the middle
of the site. Then the site will be graded and graveled. The five
foot gravel pathway will be installed the length of Upper Boones
Ferry Road. This path will be level with the curb. We will then
install the six foot chain link fence on the site perimeter.
Once the fence has been installed, we will begin to improve the
landscaping of the site. The cedar hedge will be planted along
Upper Boones Ferry Road as well as the north edge of the improved
area.
The trailers will be the final piece of the action plan. The two
office trailers on the site will be moved to the east and north
edges of the area. A new office trailer will then be placed along
the Fanno Creek Place side of the property. Steps with proper
railings will be installed at each entrance. Underground
electricity will be provided for each trailer. The trailers will
not be hooked up to water or sewer. A portable restroom will be
leased and installed at one end of a trailer. This restroom will
not be a common small port -a- potty. It will be trailer mounted
toilet.
We believe that this plan will greatly enhance and beautify the
site as well as Upper Boones Ferry Road, which is a major arterial.
